What Is Chemical Peeling?
Chemical peeling, or chemical exfoliation, involves applying a chemical substance to the skin, intentionally causing controlled epidermal damage with or without affecting the dermis. This controlled damage prompts skin regeneration and remodeling , thereby improving overall skin appearance and texture.
Our treatments
- To have a chemical peel treatment you can go directly to a surgeon or a doctor. Our doctors will firstly clean up your skin and then will apply chemical solutions onto it.
- However, you may feel a burning sensation as most people feel it. You may also have redness due to scaling. There may be further sessions of peeling until you have the look of your choice. All this treatment may take up to a fortnight for the whole cycle of chemical peel to complete.
- Also, you need to be cautious as there are possible risks of temporary or permanent change of skin color, developing scars, and activating cold sores.
